People can video-chat with each other even they are on different parts of the world. They can communicate quite smoothly. However, the problem is that for some people who are also close in distance, they may also get used to the electronic communication, say via messaging or emailing. The real meetings of each other occur in fact less frequently than before. This may make them being psychologically more distant. Thus the question appears. Do the psychological distances between humans become farther or closer in the current cyber-connected world?
